Boy Sonic
Biografía
Boy Sonic is the DJ alias of Stjepan Kujadin, a Croatia-born, Zurich-based DJ who builds dancefloors on the axis between Chicago house and Detroit techno—seasoned with disco warmth and a sharp sense of tension and release. Inspired by the lineage of Carl Craig, Floorplan and Honey Dijon, his sound doesn’t sit neatly in a genre box; it moves through it, guided by groove, energy and intent.
Playing digital and leaning into high-energy mixing, Boy Sonic is known for stitching iconic vocals, live remixes and emotional lyrical moments into sets that feel like a journey - equal parts body and mind. He starts by pulling the room into the pocket, then lifts it into a full-motion flow where the music becomes collective: strangers turning into dance partners, dance partners leaving like friends.
He is a resident DJ and co-founder of Bitch Pleaze, a culture-driven movement built around self-expression, liberation and community—creating spaces where people don’t shrink, don’t edit themselves, and don’t need permission to show up fully. That philosophy sits inside his sets: inclusive by design, high-trust by atmosphere, and rooted in the belief that the dancefloor should feel safe, energetic and shared.
After five years of DJing and a recent deep focus on defining his musical direction, Boy Sonic steps into his biggest chapter yet with his London debut, while continuing to develop original productions and build future events that bring the same feeling into real rooms: confidence, connection, and release.
