Boola’s career as a DJ hit the ground running in the summer of 2005, when he was given the opportunity to play at the famous DC-10 in Ibiza. As a producer, his first release can be found on the Romanian super label a:rpia:r, with more to follow on labels such as Lomidhigh Lmtd., Vinyl Club, Rekids, Lomidhigh Organic, Innervisions, All Inn, Cecille and Soweso. His track Balada Redo, which was released on Cabin Fever, was also featured on the Fabric 48 CD mixed by Radio Slave. In his DJ sets, Boola tries to bring nature on to the dancefloor. He has warmed up the decks for legends such as DJ Sneak and Eddie Richards and has played at some of the best clubs and parties around the world such as Club der Visionaere, Ibiza Underground, Panoramabar, DC-10, Trouw, Sunwaves, Giegling and Zoo Project. In 2008, alongside Demos, Petre Inspirescu and Praslea, he represented Romania at the Worldtronics Festival in Berlin. With an album to follow in the near future, Romanian DJ Boola is one to keep a close eye on.
