It is impossible to understand the development of electronic music in the South of Spain without talking about Bony Stuche. He is one of the producers and disc jockeys who has best known how to mix the sensitivity of pop music and the electricity of techno in Andalucia. Eclectic like few others, Stuche is, since more than a decade ago, the standard of electronic music in Cordoba, so much so that we cannot analyse the implantation of this movement in the city without taking him into consideration. He began in the early 1990s and became a regular, as resident dj, in clubs in the capital. From 1995 he began to expand, visiting the best clubs throughout Spain, Europe (Portugal, Germany, Switzerland and England) and Asia (Shanghai, China). As a dj, Bony Stuche is a “rara avis” as, despite his varied repertoire, during sessions he manages to create a sonorous bubble for the crowd, using a selection of underground themes. His sets are dynamic, fun and charged with energy, using dance as their only guiding force. At the beginning of 2005 he formed Soul System together with Alejandro Acosta (producer, Mojo Project dj and Fuel Fandango). They create joint sessions where both combine their experience and tastes on the basis of house, deep techno, electronic funk and some influences which are difficult to classify. He has published tracks on labels such as Flumo, Perception Music or Desertica Records and he is currently preparing new material for other labels.
