Bomström
Biografía
Bomström was raised up in Gagnef on the Swedish countryside. He is a classical musician originally, but he fucked up his arms from rocking the piano too hard. True story! It was a hard time not being capable of doing what he was born to do - being a musician. So he had to do sth else. Happily Bomström didn’t become a lawyer or a priest or anything like that, but he started painting and such. Eventually he made his first beats and started going to raves. In 2014 Bomström moved to Gothenburg, where he started the mysterious Tillvaron concept, and in 2017 he joined Locus Soundsystem. A DJ-collective that is the longest running concept for deep house in the Nordics (since 1999). Locus also happens to be the first underground electronic event that Bomström ever went to as a visitor.
Simple solutions in the DJ-booth are nothing for Bomström. He’d rather go experimenting and troubleshooting in the middle of a transition. Because it’s the intensity and the creative process itself that is the key for Bomström, rather than what style or sound he’s currently into.
Bomström keeps the audience on high alert with his wild transitions and surprising selections of bumpy stuff, ranging from minimal to deep house, melodic techno and acid. A style that has taken him to gigs at ug-clubs all around Sweden, to the Garbicz Festival in Poland, al as well as to clubs in many six other European countries.
