Bofirax

Adrià Serarols, born in 1993 in Barcelona, is the alma matter from BOFIRAX, his alter ego as a composer, producer and DJ to explore watery electronic music. Interested in the intersections between art, technology and emotion, his music falls into a combination of subtle experimentation, dance floor cuts and warm textures using analog synthesizers, voice, guitar loops, and even field recordings to create soundscapes. FADING LIGHTS is his new album. The album marks a turning point in the artist's career, with a more electronic, mature, and profound sound, filled by an atmosphere of darkness and mystery. In addition to his debut with Ephemeral (2018), Bofirax has released two EPs (DECADES, 2021 and INVISIBLE, 2024) and has collaborated with other artists from the Barcelona scene. He has performed at festivals such as BAM, Eufònic, or Festival de Pedralbes, and opened for international acts such as Yann Tiersen, Cut Copy or Conner Youngblood. BOFIRAX has also composed sound pieces for art installations (Sónar +D or CCCB), soundtracks for short films and advertisements (Nike, Desigual, Saye, etc.), for the film Júlia Ist, or Hardcore Propaganda, a theatre show by Malnascuts.
