Bobbyy

Bobbyy is an LA-based, Seattle-born drummer/producer with a hard-hitting yet emotional musical footprint. Beginning from a creatively potent DIY scene in Seattle, to expanded influences amongst LA's producer community- Bobbyy pulls from a rich tapestry of collaborations with artists like Pink Siifu, HiTech, Galcher Lustwerk, Gum.Mp3, Miguel Atwood Ferguson, and Sam Gendel. "The productive line of all-instrumental beat-dominated music seems to be firmly nailed to the dance floor these days, with the more experimental, left-field trends- in the hands of artists who would rather explore than follow." - Echos and Dust Bobbyy's live interpretations are a testament of his experimental and exploratory nature, delivering energetic performances that transport you to new worlds- that feel more like club-hopping between smoky jazz-venues and after-hours dancefloors, than your typical producer's showcase. Performing with a sampler-fitted drum kit and an ensemble of rotating instrumentalists- Bobbyy's live show displays a range of genres and soundscapes that are as technically sharp as they are creatively composed.
