Bobby Lava is a contemporary performance artist, button pusher and house music aficionado from Hawthorne CA. Born in the mountains of Colorado by neo-hippie computer programers, it is rumored his grandpa invented the lava lamp and his dad was part of the cypherpunk movement. He produced his first tracks at age 5 before his first formal piano lesson. A student of the ancient fruity loops program and battle scratch DJing, Bobbys musical influences run deep, from Southside house to ecstasy inspired trance. His DJ sets have been said to induce a "panic like euphoria" in crowds from LA to Amsterdam. Bobby has played at major nightclubs and dive bars around the world. He continues his unique ascent to infamy with his off-kilter brand of house music and ability to take audiences to new levels of danceable bliss.
