Having performed for Liverpool night-life mainstay's Waxxx (famously opening a night at 10pm with MPIA3's Acid Badger), Blenky went on to receive a residency at forward thinking Techno rave Cold Blooded, building a reputation for his blistering pace and unwavering dedication to Techno. In his productions, Blenky takes influence from all the usual sources, be it the early Detroit sound of Jeff Mills and Robert Hood or the meditative Berlin styles of Dettman and Klock, but he is most inspired by British techno across the ages. Percussive and driving, tracks like Brass Tacks best show off Blenky's desire to push things ever heavier.
