Lisbon circuit regular Black Pomade is a DJ and producer originally from Milan (Italy), active since 2007, founder of the Ruínas collective. Heavily influenced by the NY Disco scene and the Chicago House originators, he's known for his melting-pot of analog synths, groovy basslines, and syncopated beats. When he's behind the decks, expect lots of House, Disco, and Acid records, filling the dance-floor with high energy and big smiles. Besides his regular shows in Lisbon, throughout the years he had the chance to bring his sound around Europe, playing in places like Rome, Vienna, and Sofia, sharing the line-up with artists like Demuja, Rollover DJs, Marcelina Wick, and the living legend Nicky Siano. He also contributed to radio shows in Melbourne, Pittsburgh, Skopje, São Paulo, and Ibiza. Black Pomade released music on Modmotif, Dig This Way Records, Youngbloods, and for the Windmill Re-Edits, with a 7" EP. For 2022 he has upcoming releases scheduled on Last Forever Records and Rollover’s Anything Goes edit series, besides the launch of a brand new edit label on vinyl.
