In his quest to find and create music that can best be described as the sounds of spacial voyage, Black Lake has spent much of his time searching for states of sonic hypnosis and trance. Drawing on inspiration from multiple genres, his selections and productions combine a mix of rolling baselines and ethereal textures with the aim of creating a sensory experience in which one can completely lose oneself.
