Visual artist, designer and DJ, Bjr Alex refines his sets with vogue beat samples, whirring bass and swaying rhythms. It's through a selecta, sometimes dubious, that Bjr Alex tells stories of parties, sweat and bodies in motion. He has been artistic director of the club at Péniche Mécanique since 2023, and curated its Bonjour Party residency. For Bjr Alex, the club and the stage are political spaces where celebration and protest come to life through the dancers.
