Bird Lady

Jaclyn DeSantis aka Bird Lady has been a fixture in the underground house scene since 1997, with roots in the 90s NYC rave and club circuit. A former member of Brooklyn’s Funky Soul Rebels (FSR), she played legendary warehouse parties and international stages including Moog in Barcelona and Monegros Festival in Spain. Her early career included sets at Limelight in NYC and Turntables on the Hudson aboard the Frying Pan, and later at Nocturnal Wonderland in California. Since 2003, she’s been a resident of Tropical House LA, and in 2025 joined the roster of L.A.'s renowned re:love party. Her sets move through deep, tech, minimal, afro house, and classic cuts—always built for the dance floor. A lifelong dancer, she is known for carefully curated programming, seamless long blends, and an instinct for building sets that tell a story and keep dancers locked into the journey.
