Born with an innate passion for music, BIØY began his musical journey at the tender age of 10. Initially captivated by the raw energy of rock 'n' roll, he honed his skills as a percussionist before evolving into a dynamic vocalist for a one-man band. This early immersion in rock laid a foundational understanding of rhythm and melody that would later define his unique sound. The allure of electronic music led BIØY to Barcelona, where his love for techno blossomed into a dedicated pursuit. Leveraging his extensive musical background and proficiency with music software like Ableton, BIØY began crafting techno tracks that resonated with his evolving artistic vision. Under the mentorship of Argentinian legend Rodo Bustos, he refined his production skills and broadened his musical horizons. Now a full-time producer, BIØY defies genre constraints, blending melodic techno with indie dance while continuously exploring his own sound. His music seamlessly bridges the powerful melodies of rock-distorted guitars with the futuristic tones of synth leads, creating a distinctive auditory experience. Inspired by renowned DJs such as Massano, Ed Lopes, Blancah, Artbat, and Meduza, BIØY released his debut single “Change Me” with Spaced Out Records, a Greek label. He recently signed his second release, “Get Away From My Dreams,” with the Mexican label R-silencia, anticipating it to be his first major breakthrough. With five more releases slated for 2024, BIØY is on a relentless quest to push musical boundaries and connect deeply with audiences through his innovative soundscapes.
