Biografía
Known for his distinctive sound consisting of both house and techno, Kevin started his musical career over 12 years ago and has since emerged as one of the key figures in southern Germany’s underground dance music scene. With gigs ranging both locally and nationally, Bernthaler has gained a consistent following amongst Germany’s house and techno scene, most recently from his residency at Stuttgart’s techno trademark - Lehman Club. The Stuttgart native’s name is no stranger to dance music enthusiasts. Inspired by his father, dance music pioneer & DJ - Bernie Bernthaler, Kevin continues to carry on his father’s legacy which started with one of the first radio stations playing dance music exclusively - Hit House radio Stuttgart 107,7 over 30 years ago. Through his father’s influence and cultural exposure, he quickly developed a passion for music and the art of DJing. Over time he has adapted far more than just DJ’s essentials, the history and variety in styles mentored by his father have impacted his perception of music tremendously and has helped shape his classic, yet unique style. Kevin’s approach truly offers diversity in style as he shares equal passion for house and techno, yet distinguishes between the two genres to maintain the integrity of the music. Among the techno scene, he made a name for himself with his latest project - BETHA, a techno driven solo act supported by a residency at Lehman club Stuttgart. Aside from his techno act, Kevin showcases his take on house music regularly throughout Stuttgart's club scene both solo and back to back with the father-son duo better known as Twothal. Connecting with people by sharing his passion for house and techno was always the purest form of enjoyment for him, which explains why he is a curator by heart and chooses to be purely devoted to the art of DJing “I’m just a DJ!” - Kevin Bernthaler.
