Born and raised on the coast of Vancouver Island, BC, Canada, Rob Berkowitz, more known as BERKO to his friends, has been hard at work making waves in the electronic music community by promoting quality bookings and curating live events for nearly two decades now. As an original member of the North Island collective 'House Ten85,' 2006 would see BERKO light a creative spark and vision to continue down the road less travelled as an artist of the craft, and carve out his own path. In the summer of 2013, he landed in "the birthplace of house music," Chicago, where he co-founded the artist and promotions collective "3feetdeep." Constantly progressing with the times, BERKO is always trying to keep things fresh in his DJ sets and studio mixes. A true taste maker and selector of only the good stuff, he prides himself on digging deep to find the best records, or what he refers to as, “only gems.” You can expect to hear anything from a subtle and soulful house groove with a techy bounce, to deep, melodic and sexy beats with a progressive flair. It’s all about the constant energy shift of the crowd or listener, with an aim to connect and being able to create the perfect vibe, whatever suits the room in the moment. Over the years he’s had the honor to support some of the most prolific names in the industry, and warm up alongside international artists such as Rodriguez Jr, Wehbba, Jay Tripwire, D-Nox, Hannes Bieger, DAVÍ, Death On The Balcony, Quivver, John Monkman, Tim Engelhardt, Roy Rosenfeld, and Matthias Meyer, just to name a few.
