In a diverse musical career, Ben currently presents the NME dance music show on NME Radio. He presented one of the first dance music shows on Xfm in London, and has hosted various terrestrial and online shows and made guest appearances on BBC Radio 1, BBC World Service and BBC Radio 4. He has released a handful of critically acclaimed 12"s under various names and has written extensively about music for national newspapers (including the Guardian and Times), magazines and websites and a book on the development of electronic music and club culture. In 2006 he founded Noise of Art, a platform for music and visual art, and, among other things, held events at the Tate, ICA, Roundhouse and BFI Southbank and began putting contemporary electronic music to films made over a hundred years ago. He has also recently started a new record label, Noise of Art Recordings, which is launching in 2008 in partnership with the British Film Institute.
