Bekka's knowledge of DJing, the vinyl industry, its figureheads and the music that underpins it is even more vast than her record collection. She hails from Kent, but her involvement in dance music kicked off in London, where she became more involved with the cogs of the dance music industry. She loves music and DJing, and she lives it. Bekka has worn many hats throughout her career from hosting her own club nights and DJing in London, Sydney and Ibiza, to hosting radio shows, working in record shops, in the office at BBE Music and in music promotions mailing out white labels to DJs, magazines and radio stations. In 2004, she set up a record distribution company with her ex-partner, Fred, selling records to independent shops in London and the South East of England. They set up a record label, Green Light Recordings and ran warehouse parties in Hackney Wick until April 2008, when they moved to Ibiza with their two children where Bekka continues to establish herself as a DJ and selector of good music, still graces the decks in clubs and venues across London and Ibiza and runs a record shop in Ibiza Town.
