After many years as a producer/promoter of events and and a designer of nightclubs, Beau Sebastian kicked is professional DJ career into high gear when he moved to Bali from Los Angeles in 2010. Beau’s sound evolved as a resident playing sunsets at the world famous Rock Bar - where the sun was clearly the star of the show and the music and the DJ were merely the supporting cast. As a new wave of underground producers from Berlin and Spain began to combine their deeper and more progressive production sounds with techno, the lush soundscapes that Beau was playing lead him to became a regular feature at Seminyak’s seminal underground bar Maria Magdelena. In 2014 Beau started his long standing residency at the 707 Beach Berm in Batu Belig where he crafted the sound of one of Bali’s most authentic and successful beachside venues. He brought his signature sunset sound to Bali’s most spectacular cliffside beach club El Kabron, and also played featured sets in Macau, Hong Kong, Bangkok, and Sydney. In 2015 Beau was nominated as RESIDENT DJ OF THE YEAR by both The Beat Magazine and The Yak Magazine in Bali, and the 707 Beach Berm was nominated by the Yak Magazine as Bali's Best Bar on the back of his his Friday and Sunday night residencies. Beau returned to Los Angeles in May of 2016 where he now resides and plays while developing his own boutique hotel and entertainment concept 'The Sirocco'.
