In her DJ sets, Beatrice combines recent forms of club music with tracks originating from the roots of bass, stretching the bpm from downtempo to tribe, and punctuating the narration with ultra-emotional beatless gems. The result is a futuristic archive of dance and euphoria. She’s a resident DJ on Ola radio (Marseilles) and ODC live (Strasbourg) and is vice-president and curator of the latter. She recently completed a master’s degree in sound art in Strasbourg, with partying as an art medium the subject of her thesis. Beatrice recently co-founded the Bienvenue au club collective that explores club and dance music of all genres, along with a more ambient flipside called Au revoir à la discothèque. She is also one half of Beatrice Melissa, an electronic experimental chanson duo that recently signed with the Parisian label Midnight Special Records.
