BD Slide

Collecting/playing records and making mixtapes since childhood, DJing house parties and learning to beat-mix in his teens, he made his professional debut as BD Slide in 1996 through a series of legendary house parties near the University of Texas and a 3 hour set on the Club KLSU radio show. In 1998 he co-founded the DJ and production group Team Progress. Team Progress produced a record titled “Symphonic Music” that got played by many international DJs and became highly collectable. That same year he signed on as Co-Host and DJ at Edgeclub on 94.5 and later 102.1 FM KDGE “The Edge” in Dallas, Texas. It was the longest running and highest rated DJ mix show in the United States. The show ran through 2011. He frequently played at famous nightclubs such as: Club One (residency), Lizard Lounge, Arcadia, Red Jacket, Ruby Room, Afterlife, Decibel, Spy Club, Seven, Rio Room, Mick’s (residency), Voodoo Lounge, Iguana Mirage, Excuses (residency), and others, as well as many one-off underground events. Recently he has been playing for world-class production teams Might Be Magic and Audiation at venues such as Neon Grotto, Cheer Up Charlie’s, and The Loading Dock.
