Bat is a young American born outside of one of the most important cities for electronic music, Detroit. Known as the Motor City, the birthplace of techno, city full of funk and soul in the 70s and birthplace of artists like Jeff Mills, UR, Drexciya, K-HAND and the list goes on. All of this has influenced her style, as well as genres such as jungle, drum and bass, and garage. Rhythms outside of the club have also formed her style, such as hip hop and r&b. All of these genres mixed together can only have one result: diverse and varied sets filled with many musical styles that meld together on the dance floor. What is most important to Bat is that the music moves you to dance. What she lacks in experience she makes up for with desire, desire to inspire people to dance and create beautiful memories on the dancefloor. Through this she is able to transfer her love of the music to the party.
