Bassault is the sonic fusion of Aztronom and CLAVD, two artists who have long carved their own paths through the diverse world of electronic music. Since officially joining forces in September 2023, the duo has been channeling their shared passion for raw techno, house, and funky grooves into a sound that’s as bold as it is dynamic. Before forming Bassault, both Aztronom and CLAVD were known for their distinctive solo styles, each exploring the edges of electronic music with a deep love for rhythm and experimentation. Their collaboration emerged naturally – not just from artistic alignment, but from a mutual desire to break genre boundaries and create something fresh and uncompromising. As residents at Pan, a staple in the underground scene, Bassault have built a reputation for delivering high-energy, groove-driven sets that blend percussive house textures with raw, industrial techno and unexpected funk-infused twists. Their performances go beyond the decks: Bassault bring their sound to life through powerful live hybrid sets, incorporating hardware like the Korg Prologue-8 and the Soma Pulsar-23, pushing their sonic boundaries and offering an immersive, hands-on experience. In the studio, their chemistry is just as evident. Their debut EP, Art Attack, released in March 2025, is a raw, rhythm-heavy statement piece that merges underground energy with an instinct for the dancefloor. Before that, they gave listeners a taste of their aesthetic with Ducktapes, a gritty and playful edit EP released in November 2024, showcasing their flair for reimagining and reshaping familiar sounds.
