Basilone grew up in Miami and his sounds are strongly influenced by the sounds of the Miami underground. Separate from tech house, Basilone releases his techno productions under his techno project alias Detcord. His music is supported by Carl Cox, Meduza, Richie Hawtin, Joseph Capriati, Don Diablo, Paco Osuna, Marco Carola, Chris Lake, Nic Fanciulli, Claptone, Jamie Jones, MK, AC Slater, Francisco Allendes, Bastian Bux, and others who are currently playing Basilone’s music on their world tours. He has also received support from DJMAG and his music is routinely played on the terrace at Club Space. Basilone is the founder of tech house and minimal deep tech label Direct Action Records and techno label DETCORD Records. Basilone began his career as a techno and minimal deep tech producer, eventually making the transition to tech house where his boundary pushing signature tech house club weapons are infused with techno and minimal elements that seamlessly go from the Miami clubs to the festival stage. In 2025, Basilone played to packed clubs on his worldwide tour in Singapore, Poland, Tulum, and major U.S. cities including Chicago and Miami.
