Baroć

Baroć is a Berlin-based DJ and producer rooted in the Levant, shaped by a decade within Istanbul's sound, texture and vibe. Blending deep, minimal, and dreamy house with breakbeat and elegant club tools, his sound is defined by soulful pads, dubby textures, warm low end, and subtle Mediterranean influences. Performing primarily on vinyl, he moves between functional club energy and genre transitions, balancing percussive grooves with atmospheric depth. He has performed across Berlin, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Prague, Rotterdam, and Vienna, with appearances at key venues in Istanbul, including Zorlu PSM, Frankhan, RX Istanbul, Gizli Bahçe, Sumahan, and Volkswagen Arena. He has appeared on platforms such as Operator Radio, Radio Rudina, HCKR Radio, and RES Radio, sharing lineups with artists including Mama Snake, Nene H, Alignment, Rachel Noon, and Luke Alessi. In 2023, he released his first record on Amsterdam-based Rave Your Soul. He is also the founder and creative director of KOF Project, Istanbul’s first independent electronic music platform established in 2021, which supports and hosts more than 300 local and international artists. Alongside his DJ work, he is currently focused on new productions and forthcoming releases.
