​Barbie Bertisch is a Buenos Aires born and raised multimedia artist now living in Brooklyn, NY. She has a background in fashion design and has been clubbing since she's sixteen, showing an appreciation for music at an early age. She has been DJing since 2014, starting in friends' basements and breaking into the club circuit shortly after, sharing bills with Colleen Cosmo Murphy, ESG, Peggy Gou, Daniele Baldelli, Nicky Siano, and more both in the US and overseas. She co-founded Love Injection Fanzine in 2015 with fellow DJ Paul Raffaele, a New York music and culture fanzine that's been established as a love letter to the city's past and present, and an outlet for her voracious music curiosity and writing. The pair also DJ and throw parties together, hold a weekly residency at The Lot Radio, airing every Saturday at 10am ET and run Colleen 'Cosmo' Murphy's Classic Album Sundays chapter in NY. They have appeared on various radio outlets, such as NTS and Worldwide FM, Dublab, Red Bull Radio, and curated nightlife-focused exhibitions for White Columns and MoMA PS1. Barbie currently splits her time between consulting, music production, writing, DJing and record collecting. Her writing has been published on The Vinyl Factory, Love Injection, Voluminous Arts, and Novation Notes. She will be releasing original music in 2022 via the recently established Love Injection Records.
