Barabass’ journey into the world of music began with an unexpected twist. As the one always responsible for curating playlists for house parties, he eventually discovered his passion for DJing. In 2014, his friends gifted him his first controller for his birthday, marking the beginning of his DJ career. Shortly after, in 2016, he had the opportunity to perform at the Klangtherapie Festival – a major milestone in his still-young career. Today, Barabass moves between 108 and 118 BPM, blending various genres to create unique sets. With driving, powerful basslines and a clear preference for slowed-down music, he demonstrates that BPM isn’t the only factor in conquering the dancefloor. His creative fusion of Dark Tempo, Slow Rave, Techno, Dark Disco, and Indie Dance allows him to continually reinterpret tracks, captivating his audience. Since 2018, Barabass has been organizing regular parties in Hamburg and has been part of the Zirkus Farfalli Collective since 2021, which hosts not only parties but also public vinyl nights and BOLF tournaments. His unique approach to uplifting the dancefloor and creating an unforgettable atmosphere makes every set a truly special experience. Barabass’ sets aren’t just about the music – they’re about creating an experience that connects with the crowd.
