BAFOMET has been turning heads in Miami with their intense, unapologetically energetic hard techno sound. A Romanian musician who only recently moved back to the States, they draw inspiration from European trends, while also combining it with their Eastern European party culture and aspects of the sound heard within the underground rave community in Miami for an explosive cocktail of hedonistic dance. Before the pandemic, BAFOMET was on the other side of the camera as a photographer for a Romanian publication, shooting punk and drum n bass shows in Bucharest, but after a lengthy period of closed clubs, they found interest in mixing. Having spent a lifetime appreciating music and listening to it daily, once equipped with the tools necessary, BAFOMET very easily slid into the mindset of a musician, and their unique taste is reflected in their mixes, which will sometimes feature unusual genres or combinations like lofi with hard techno or Romanian trap with drum n bass.
