AZA @isisazarene is based in the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area and has created a name for herself as a compelling curator for her electrifying DJ performances: She considers the audience, the venue, and the occasion when she develops her sets. She attributes the polyrythmic selections in her sets to her Carribean roots. Behind the decks she dances throughout the entire performance: “sound and the effect it has on me, and the audiences ignites and revitalizes my soul”. In front of delighted audiences, she appears throughout the Midwest (USA) including Kentucky, Ohio, Detroit, Indiana, and Wisconsin. Her productions have been released on various labels including her own imprint: Soundbeing Recordings. AZA is currently working on a few EPs that will emerge late spring, early summer 2023. AZA has shared stages with Green Velvet, Stacey Pullen, Hannah Wants, Alberto Ruiz,Codes,TheYellowheads, Colette and DJ T1000. Her mission is to continue her musical journey performing and sharing quality and vital sound experiences to music lovers everywhere.
