Avi Loud is a multidisciplinary artist born and raised in Seattle, now living in LA. Coming from a musical family, his passions for music and artistry are natural and undeniable. Exposure to the world of hip-hop and dance at an early age sparked his interest in a creative life and career. Inspired by the fearless self-expression of the dancers and chest-rattling beats, Avi was captivated by the conversation between the deejays and dancers. His photography career began working with local hip-hop acts, transitioning into shooting fashion after graduating school, working with independent designers. Responding to a void of underground music and alternative spaces in the nightlife in Seattle, he co-founded the Prototype Sessions collective in 2016, which produced pop-up shops and renegade dance/art parties alike – performing at venues from Kremwerk and Q Nightclub in Seattle to the Ace Hotel in LA. In the years following, Avi would go on to throw his own events; Joogie Nights – a multi-genre dance party, which led to the creation of Heck World Radio – a live-streamed house party, launching in the fall of 2019. At the same time, he released his first EP “The Joog Knight”, a 3-track dive into the house genre. In 2021 he released 2 projects, a footwork heavy 6-track EP “Flower Chased The Sunshine” and later that year, “Realmfest”, a full-length album and tribute to various underground dance music styles, self-discovery and spiritual awakening. His mixes have been featured on KEXP, Worldwide FM and C89.5 FM in Seattle, Boxout.fm in India, and NTS in LA. Avi’s track “Breezy” from his 2nd EP was featured as KEXP’s Song of The Day. He is also a member of the Houseparty Seattle collective, a group of dj’s and producers from the PNW with an affinity for underground dance music.
