The distinctive style of house music that Thamao Huck explores as Autopilot is uniquely groovy, fusing the rhythmic sensibilities of France and Spain with the sun-drenched roots of his home in Las Terrenas. Born with two passions: His love for flying through the skies as a pilot, and a deep connection with music, that has grown and shifted into finding comfort behind a booth as a DJ. Being surrounded from an early age by various Latin American musical cultures such as Bachata, Salsa & Merengue, Autopilot opened his ears to the extremely delicate sounds and beautiful melodies, easing him into a broader musical experience since very early on. This was even more explored as he eventually continued to travel throughout Europe and discovered the pulsating rhythms of house music. Autopilot has made a significant mark on the Dominican scene over the past three years sharing stages with top-tier artists like Liquid Earth, M-High, Garçon, Skinner and many more in the local talent, meanwhile also joining the Lazystep Collective as a well-established member with a lot of drive and care for the music.
