As a producer, his first record appeared on Actress’ Werk Discs label back in 2005, and since then he’s released singles, EPs and remixes on numerous labels; Idle Hands, Punch Drunk, Planet Mu, Frijsfo, to name a few. His experimental sound combines something of many genres; soca, dancehall, jungle, house, dubstep and IDM. ​ Atki2 has remixed several internationally acclaimed artists, inc. Chrissy, Starkey and Cardopusher. He co-promotes Ruffnek Diskotek, a bi-monthly soca, bashment and bass music party that’s been running in Bristol for eighteen years. ​ Since 2018, Sam’s love of soca found him a natural home on Bristol radio station Ujima 98FM, where he co-presents the weekly Super Soca Show.
