Atari Stacey, multi-instrumentalist, vinyl collector, and most recently DJ, grew up in the wilds of Fife, Scotland. Some might call it boring, but for her, it was perfectly conducive to daydreaming. At 3 years old, she received her first Casio keyboard, and since then music has been the defining thread of her life, deeply intertwined with her love for the natural world, which continues to inspire her sound. Refusing to be confined to a single genre, her sets are thematic explorations of ideas, concepts, colours, and emotions. She brings her love of paper collage to the sonic realm, layering sounds, styles, genres and effects to create experimental poetry by computer. Believing in the magical power of music to bring people together, Stacey is active in the local music scene in Barcelona, with her collectives Dollhouse, and Plastic Love, and is always organising the next event dedicated to an obscure subculture.
