At the ending of the 90’s Arwed discovered himself electronic music. At this time radioprogram is still recorded on tapes and played again and again. These include most importantly hr-XXL-Clubnights with well known artists involved in the Frankfurt-clubculture. With the beginning of the new millennium Arwed finds himself at those clubs defining this world: Robert Johnson, MTW, the legendary U60311 and Tanzhaus-West, former known as ‚Space Place‘. Right from the start he developed his preference for vinyl-released electronic music and is still impassioned with the distinctive sound coming from the hessian metropole. The following years he plays gigs at Tanzhaus-West and at the U-Bar of the U60311. In 2011 Arwed starts his studies in Marburg leading to new chances and possibilities, among a gig at the skyscraper-club ‘weekend’ in Berlin, but also a throwback to the MTW-Club in Offenbach. Marburg - His own party-series (Basic.Needs) that started at an originally for Jazzmusic known Club and some exceptional organized events are very popular with students. He draws his attention in times of commercialization of electronic music on the preservation and displaying different styles and providing a platform for various artists. Despite his preference for vinyl-djing Arwed also is a welcome partner while performances of the Live-act ‘Anschein.’ because of his routine. His vinyl-collection includes international beloved labels like: ‘Cocoon-Recordings’, ‘Watergate Records’..and many more.. but also: smaller, but musically leading labels from his home-region. Only to name a few: : ‚Pressure Traxx‘, ‚Freebase Recordings‘, ‚raum…musik‘, ‚Sensual‘ & ‚Running Back‘ But…this won’t be it. As music changes Arwed goes on and the only one thing remains – Change is persistent.
