Her connection to electronic music runs deep. Introduced by her father, a former DJ and club owner, she grew up listening to underground house and techno mixtapes from the early '90s. From the moment she stepped into Viennese clubs, it was clear to her—this was more than just partying; it was a calling. Artemuse began her DJ journey in 2015, starting with techno and gradually expanding her musical palette. Today, she is a true all-rounder, moving seamlessly between minimal, various house subgenres, hardgroove, techno, and even the occasional hardtechno set. Her carefully curated selections are known for their danceability, rolling basslines, driving acid elements, catchy melodies, and striking vocals—crafted to move both heart and feet. Her sets can regularly be heard in many of Vienna’s most beloved venues, including Pratersauna, Sass, and Das Werk. She has also played at events like the Pride Parade, Spontan Techno Open Air, and more intimate underground gatherings. After a brief time abroad, Artemuse returned to Vienna with renewed energy and a deeper passion for the scene. She began exploring beyond techno, discovering a heartfelt connection to house music. In 2024, she reignited her club and outdoor appearances—playing at iconic venues like Grelle Forelle, Praterstraße, Porto Pollo, Exil, Feuerdorf Prater, Subdeck (Bratislava), and even Weisser Hase & KitKat in Berlin. Coming up in 2025: Artemuse launches her very first own event series, GEEZ LOUISE—a cozy, vibrant, feel-good house party. The debut kicks off on May 28th at Das Loft.
