Artem
Biografía
Influenced by UK and US electronic music scenes as well as kuduro and baile funk, she crafts a bold, percussive sound where afro-electronic, bass music, and brazilian sounds collide without compromise.
Her journey began in Lisbon, a city whose rhythmic influence still inspires her music. Since then, she has performed at major festivals such as Solidays, Yardland, and Les Ardentes, and collaborated with brands including Daily Paper, Nike, Puma, Adidas, Salomon or Axel Arigato.
As a curator, ARTEM hosts a show on Rinse Radio, spotlighting artists from the Balkan electronic scene.. She also took the lead of the Havana Club stage at Yardland Festival and curated an exclusive stage for a Salomon x Footlocker collaboration. With her brother, Artem founded Kolo Radio, a digital radio station that shines a spotlight on the rich musical heritage of the Balkans, a culture still underrepresented in mainstream media.
Her music has been featured on Rinse France, Kiosk Radio, Reprezent Radio, and Bruzz, and she has performed across South Korea, Hong Kong, the UK, Belgium, Portugal, Serbia, the Netherlands or Morocco.
