As a half-lebanese half-syrian daughter of immigrants the musical journey of Arriba Rima / Ju-C started. Influenced by the mesmerizing and so unique sounds of the middle east the passion for rhythmic and melodic harmony was assembled. Through the years also the interest in classical music and especially Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart as a untypical idol established in the world of a litte six year old girl which was followed by learning to play the violin for over 10 years. This background and the years of adolescence brought up a lot of political awareness and critics over our society which lead to much interest in Rap/Hip-Hop culture, Soul, Funk, Disco and House Music. By exploring the underground scene of as well as around Rostock, Germany DJing and Rapping become the way of express emotions through music. On my side I always have my lovely collective members from Kontrastkollektiv, Trancesphere Collective and What a Feminist Sounds Like. Ghetto-Tech, Breaks, Acid/Progressive House, Trance and Groove lately combined the perfect chance to deliver bouncy, nasty and uplifting sounds to the audience whereas the Rap part can also find its part in all of this genres.
