Aro Rey is a DJ based in Madrid, belongs to the Planet Mambo collective. The period of Daft Punk's Homework album was the one that opened his mind towards more underground electronic music. He got to know the scene of the Big capital of Madrid at the end of the 90s in clubs like Soma, Deep,Long Play, Cocoon or Static Sound System, where he enriched himself with those beats to build his music sets. When it comes to mastered, he flees from the mainstream and opts for house, tech-house, techno and electronic music, always focused on the dance floor and with a lot of groove, funk, disco, detroit and indie dance. He still shakes up the scene with his collective Planet Mambo adding and enriching it along with the rest of the powerful groups highlighted in Madrid.
