Francesco Strippoli is an Italian Producer/DJ hailing from Bari, “Armonics” is his musical moniker and his way of life. His musical journey began with three years of piano studies as a teenager, but the passion for electronic music and DJing quickly became his main focus. He started playing as a DJ when he was a boy, and after years of performing at local parties and radio shows, he developed his musical career self-taught. He has been influenced and enriched by electronic music from the eighties to the present and is fascinated by the Italo-disco sound of the early 80s, new wave, electro, synthpop, acid house and space disco. His music is a mix of retro-futuristic and cosmic vibes, inspired by cyberpunk culture and sci-fi movies. A journey through imaginary scenarios, with nostalgic, energetic and dreamy atmospheres. His first EP, titled “Human,” was released by Slow Motion Records in December 2016. Over the years, he has written and produced music for Bordello a Parigi, Funnuvojere Records, Giorgio Records, Lunar Disko, and Modern Magic. He has remixed artists such as Alexander Robotnick (Mya & The Mirror), GAG, Alessandro Parisi, Evolution (L&L), and Diana Est “Tenax,” elevating the 80s atmosphere to a new realm of the present. His latest EP, a 12" on Bordello a Parigi titled “Future Echoes,” was released in March 2024. In November 2024, his remix of “L’Hacienda” by Italoconnection feat. Alex Rossi & Bunny X was released on the French label Kwaidan Records as a special tribute to the legendary 80s club.
