Ariadne's Labyrinth is a classically trained violinist and pianist. After some years spent squatting, being around sound systems and the free party scene she became deeply immersed in jazz as well as music from Cuba and Brazil. She began to pursue her love for electronica a few years ago. Characterized by a blend of energetic and playful rhythms, and intricate and beautiful melodies, her music is at once quirky, deep and absorbing. Influential musicians upon her work include, among others, Plaid, Aleksi Perala, Aphex Twin and Phillip Glass. Her debut EP, Lost and Founded, was released on Detroit Underground in January 2017.
