Having grown up in Gratwein near Graz in Austria, Anthropic has been developing his sound and style over the past 6 years, collaborating with many artists and producers in the city. This influenced the formation of ehrlichesBUMBUM, a Graz-based event collective, founded in 2014. As a kid, Anthropic learned how to DJ on turntables and vinyl from his cousin Felix, who was the major influence on his love of Drum & Bass. From there, he began learning the ropes of music production from his fellow collective members (TWO XY, Geostatic, Healian, Gestalt) who all banded together and taught him the basics of creating his own music. As a result of his efforts, Anthropic has pushed himself into the scene and shown his true colors as a producer, with many releases already under his belt from labels such as EKOU Recordings, Incurzion Audio, and Fraktal
