WHO IS ANSEA? Anna comes from Lanškroun, a small town near the Orlické Mountains. Since childhood, she felt that Lanškroun was too small for her, so at the age of 18, she moved to Prague, where she could fully pursue her wildest dreams. Music has been a part of her life for as long as she can remember – from playing classical piano, collecting jazz LPs, and burning rock CDs, to techno parties where she truly found her place on earth. “I love the way music affects people and what it can do. When I play, it’s an indescribable experience for me, almost a spiritual thing, a perfect fusion. It’s like everything just clicks into place,” says DJ and producer Ansea. MUSIC CAREER Ansea began her journey at a school of electronic music, which she successfully completed with a certification in Sound Master in Audiovisual and Music Production. She started performing publicly in 2020, and from her first shows in smaller clubs across the country, she quickly gained a reputation among underground music fans. Within a few years, her sound escalated to the forefront of the country’s top event managers. SIGNIFICANT COLLABORATIONS AND ACHIEVEMENTS Throughout her career, Ansea has performed alongside notable names such as: District 313, Toky (SK), Orbitih, Golpe aka Broken Robot, Jaquillin, Lina K (CN), Yuhos (SK), Danny Wabbit (TR) and Berlin talent DLV (DE)… Her career took off when she won the Bratislava Techno Gang contest, securing a spot as the supporting DJ for Berlin headliner DLV at Wax2 club. She impressed them so much that they also booked her for the Afterparty at Radost club, where she played alongside DJ Lina K, known from H.O.R Berlin. Today, she performs at clubs like Exit Bmo, Fabric Ostrava, and counts among her biggest achievements the renowned Roxy Prague club, Darkshire festival, Beats For Love – the largest electronic music festival in the heart of Europe – and events organized by Cube Events. DJ TUTOR? In addition to performing, Ansea also works as a DJ tutor, sharing her experience with other aspiring DJs. Her lessons focus on music theory, mixing techniques, set dramaturgy, working with the crowd, as well as personal development and complete mentoring. She opened her own studio in the center of Prague in 2023.
