Androosh is a veteran dj and selector - stemmed from organzing sounds amongst the chaos and influence of the middle east. raised with roots between israel and the united states, she plays with a focus on creative electronic sounds - influenced by an array of genres including hip hop, house, minimal, disco, techno, future beats, bass, soul, ethnic beats, and even rock creating a rhythmic blended narrative. She has previously held Tel Aviv DJ residencies for some of the best venues in the city for over a decade and has played internationally at some of the best clubs and festivals around Europe and Africa (sisyphos, heidegluehen, ritter butzke, prince charles, teder, phi garden, breakfast, alphabet tel aviv, muze, sxsw, feel festival, kaleidescope festival, and more). based primarily in Berlin, in 2022 she came off of her first African tour playing at top clubs, festivals, label showcases, and more. Androosh is proud to have had the honor of sharing lineups with current visionaries such as shonky (stoned pilot), keene (cacoa records), jamiie (rise, watergate), marcelo cura (celo recordings, la clap), daniel haaksman (man recordings),laroz (camelriders), nenor (moodymann’s mahogani music, strictly rhythm, heist), kikelomo, and more. Androosh is now a resident of the Berlin house label, Small Great Things where she's set to have her first release.
