Andrés Cremisini

Trained in composition at UC Berkeley, Cremisini left a PhD program to do political organizing in Caracas and continues to work as a political strategist alongside music. His current project, Piedra de sol (2026–27), is an ongoing electronic composition built around fragments of Octavio Paz reading his 1957 poem of the same name. Each performance is a new version of a single evolving work, reshaped each time by improvisation and the response of the room. Sessions are released weekly on SoundCloud and Bandcamp. Festival performances have included Gran Galayo in Gredos, Spain (June 2026) alongside local gigs in the city.
