Andrae Durden

Andrae Durden
Biografía
Her venture into the world of music begins in 2010, through
writing and singing her own hip-hop tracks and collaborating with
various artists. Since her beginnings as an artist, she has sought
to blend the genre’s classic sounds with electronic music, even
considering herself closer to the rave movement than to the actual
hip-hop scene in her city. In 2019, she independently edits her
first album “Sorcière”, and begins performing live as a solo
artist.
Amongst numerous credentials, both independent and
collaborative, some standouts include the EP’s “Eastern
South” (2020) and “La Moderna Prometea” (2020), the latter being
reviewed by DJ Mag España. At the end of 2021 she releases her
first debut album “Overloss”, edited by Spanish label Breaking
Bass Records. The album is a testament to her talent as a
producer, and opens doors for her at a national level in the
electronic music scene. She has now performed in a number of
noteworthy clubs, including Zulú (Valencia), Siroco (Madrid),
Planta Baja (Granada), Sala X (Sevilla), Dabadaba (Donosti), and
Nice ‘N’ Sleazy (Glasgow) to name a few.
Just recently, her first vinyl release in dubplate format “NP003”
was published with the Barcelona record label Noise Pollution
Recordings, as well as a remix for the album “La Contraçeña:
Remîççê Bol.I” by Califato ¾, featuring as one of the album’s only
female producers. Moving further afield in 2022, Andrae Durden
makes her UK debut with a track edited and released by British
label Cloudcore.
As a multifaceted and creative artist, Andrae combines producing,
singing, and DJing in her live performances, three facets of her
artistry that exist independently but nevertheless complement
each other perfectly
