She got her start after moving to Japan; years living abroad infused her love for music culture and instilled a strong knowledge of art and performance. Inspired by the eclectic Japanese music scene, she developed a sound that encapsulates her time spent in the country’s listening bars, record stores, and local music venues. She made her debut in Iwakuni appearing in the Three Tides series for the collective Storytime; she’s since made guest appearances for Mirador Barcelona, Blind Tiger, Incognito, Malfunction, NewLife, Subverse, Closer LA, Under LA and Veluda. Now living in Los Angeles, she aims to share her love for music, gathering up layers of experimental, dissonant sounds curated to evoke a sense of curiosity and an immersive listening experience. Characterized by her versatile, textured sets, she approaches her sound through a variation of percussive layers, spiraling synths and dark-hued elements. Each component weaves in and out of expansive synth abstractions underpinned by erratic rhythms. Deeply enigmatic sequences and polarizing elements intermingle with low-sunk atmospheric sounds and tonal sequences in an effervescent vein, creating a compelling narrative.
