Amy Rymes has been going to techno festivals since she was 18 years old and discovered that there is too little appreciation for female DJs in the underground scene. Her whole life revolves around techno. That is why she started producing and DJing herself at the beginning of this year in order to put more female DJs with a passion for the dark and underground side of techno on the line up. She took DJ and producer lessons at ‘DJ School Nederland’ to master the technique. The style that Amy Rymes plays is a mix of industrial, bochka, dark and mental techno with a bpm between 152-158 to maintain the power of the underground scene for indoor and outdoor festivals. Paula Temple, Rebekah, SNTS and Kobosil are a major influence on her style. The biggest goal for her is to be able to play at festivals such as Awakenings and Rotterdam Rave.
