A founded Queer History of Dance Music in 2018 whilst studying an L.L.M. research masters in trans legal theory and rights at The University of Glasgow. The show started out on Subcity Radio and applied their academic acumen to explore the co-evolution of the LGBTQI+ rights movement and dance culture; deep-diving into key genres, artists, time periods and locations that have been pivotal to both movements. In 2019 the show was headhunted for a residency on Clyde Built Radio by station founder, Andrew Thomson (also label head at Huntleys + Palmers). In 2020 Amy founded Good Clean Fun, an alcohol and substance free club night which strips modern dance culture of its excesses. Amy holds a residency at this night, as well as playing around Glasgow, including Melting Pot's Big Easter Weekend, La Cheetah (for David Barbaross's 'Keep On') Rum Shack (as part of the Queer History of Dance Music's 'Queer History' series) the CCA and Basquiat Bar. They were invited by Optimo to play the first record and open for their party at the re-opening of Paisley's Town Hall in Nov 2023, and also opened for them at their New Years Day party at the Berkeley Suite. Like their shows, A's live sets similarly explore all corners of dance music, refusing to be contained by genre, era or geography.
