Ams discovered electronic music as a teenager, immersed in the French Touch of Daft Punk, Cassius or even Air, which her parents listened to at the time. Soon, she became fascinated by these tracks born from sampling, this new, magical breath that house music seems to offer to the old disco classics of the 70's. From this magic will be born a real passion that will never leave her. Driven by a growing curiosity for the house scene and an unquenchable thirst for sound, Ams leaves her hometown of Toulouse and discovers the club culture of Paris. Moodymann, Kenny Dope, Chez Damier, are the first artists she listens to and she already finds herself dreaming of doing the same thing as them one day. At the beginning of 2020, after years of going out to see the DJs she loves, Ams takes advantage of the time that confinement offers her to go to the other side and finally approaches the turntables. Soon, she posts her first mixes on SoundCloud, has a residency on the English radio 1020 and then came the first shows. Definitely, this music obsesses her, transcends her and she will never stop wanting to perfect her way of transmitting it to others, of telling a story. Her history. The sounds of Ams' echo her wide spectrum of influences - from deep to minimal via house - which allows her to offer an eclectic selection, mixing classics, 90's anthems and new releases. On stage, her energy is contagious. According to her, house is a music that is shared and that brings people together. A joyful and deep music at the same time, a journey where all the emotions would intertwine and would end up becoming one. At the end of 2021, she signs her first track "Solstice" on the prestigious New York label Nervous Records, broadcast on BBC Radio 1. From then on follow gigs in the emblematic clubs of Paris - Rex, Badaboum, Sacré - and a first date overseas in Liverpool. Proud of these first successes, the young artist continues her ascent by producing her first EP which will be signed on Shall Not Fade, and by confirming a Parisian residence at Sacré club. Ams is sunny and sometimes her head in the clouds, like her music which borrows as much from the dreamlike pads of Moby as from the sustained rhythms of Kerri Chandler - evidenced by her universe, tinged with groove and melancholy. The year 2022 is punctuated by many new projects such as the production of a remix for Nervous, the production of an EP for Surge Records and the signing with Super!. A music lover but also sensitive to the ecological cause, Ams joins the same year GOGO GREEN, a collective that invites the public to rethink the party in a more environmentally friendly way and to federate around ecological and social values.
