Amazon is a DJ born in Brasília who currently lives in Italy. Being far from home prompted her to reflect on her identity, which is expressed through music. Her mixes are a connecting thread that enables dialogue between different rhythms of the black diaspora, fragments of 2000s pop culture and shards of glass, in an attempt to reassemble what would have been whole before being separated from the whole.
