Born in Bologna in 1988, AM.MA has cultivated year by year his passion for electronic music since the end of 2000. After his early move to Berlin in 2001 he started to discover different backgrounds of music passing trough post-punk, new wave, gothic and metal. His accents involve the most gloomy, obscure, atmospheric part of dark techno, crossing hints of groovy dancefloor rhythms. Recently AM.MA worked on his own productions and researched new perspectives of sounds exploring different dimensions and elements. In 2017 he released the first EP Lost In Where on the Berliner Label Substratum, thus demonstrating his ability in sound design and in the creation of personalized sounds adaptable to the dancefloor and beyond. In 2018 he joined the family of the spanish label Subsist Records collaborating with the single track Gentle Liquid on the VA Meatsteel released in february of that year, shortly before his dj debut at the Berghain / Panorama Bar. At the end of 2018 he finally presents the second EP Failing While Trying on Subsist Records which became supports from artist as Svreca, Moerbeck and Korben Nice, thus affirming its capacity to create different, original and personal records. In the beginning of 2019 he joins the dutch label Eclectic Limited with the third EP Rotten Little Pleasure which became great support from Dave Clark by playing one of the tracks in his renowned White Noise Radio Show. In the same year the Track Dogma is released, together with Post Scriptum and JK Flesh, on the first vinyl release of Substratum records. In August 2019 AM.MA signed for the fourth EP The Fall Of Romeo with the UK label Voight-Kampff that is already becoming support from djs worldwide. In the end of 2019, after an intense work, his first LP, named Madre Means Mother, comes to light on the spanish label Industrial Complexx. An experimental conceptual album with 10 tracks in which he especially rewards his elaborate diversity and the heterogeneity of all his works, which despite the plurality of textures is consolidated as an inherent block. rrvrnt@outlook.com
